Kevin Williams
Kevin works as a miner. He is the Chair of the Maerdy Partnership and Steering Committee. |

Ricky Pugh
Ricky is Vice Chair of the Partnership. He is a young people's representative on the Steering Committee. He is currently undertaking training for OCN Level 3 in Youth Work and OCN Level 2 in Community Regeneration. He has also undertaken voluntary Sports Coaching. He has been a member of the Maerdy Advocacy Project. He is currently employed as a Trainee Youth Worker. |

Karen Knott
Karen is recently retired and an active partnership member. She leads on issues around Health. She is an active member of the Macmillan Cancer Relief Committee, a Director of Maerdy Regeneration and she is a Govenor of Ferndale Community School. |

Gillian Chambers
Gillian works full time in Teify House. She is an active Partnership member, involved in the planning of and volunteering for the many of the Communities First projects. She is a member of the Steering Committee and is a Director of Maerdy Regeneration Ltd. |
Arthur hughes
Represents the residents in Maerdy Courts the sheltered housing complex run by RCT Homes. |
Ray Carlotti
Ray is a resident of Maerdy, a regular user of Teify House Day Centre, amember of St. Johns Ambulance and Maerdy 1st Responders. He is also a member of the Communities First Steering Committee |
Barbara Daniel
Barbara is the Warden for All Saints Church in Maerdy. She writes the column for Maerdy in the Rhondda Leader. Barbara is an active community member and a member of the Steering committee. She is a Director of Maerdy Regeneration Ltd |
Sandra Hunt
Sandra is an active member of the Partnership and a key member of the Steering Committee. |
Pamela Le'Beau
Pamela is an active member of the Partnership and has been striving to setup a Homewatch Scheme in the area; She has a great interest in many of the projects C1st is involved in and often lends a hand to help out with her office skills. She is a member of the Steering Committee. |
Deborah "Maggie" McGrath
Maggie is a key volunteer for Kids'R'Us and the Communities First youth provision. Always eager to get involved Maggie is one of our key volunteers who works with people of all ages and abilities. She is a member of the Steering Committee. |
Keiron Montague
Keiron started volunteering with Communities First as a youth worker. He then went on to become a paid youth worker for C1st sessions and is now employed by Newidd Housing Association. He is a member of the Steering Committtee and a Director of Maerdy Regeneration Ltd. |
Cullen Morris
Cullen has always been an active member of the Maerdy community. He is now a Director of Maerdy Regeneration Ltd, a member of the Steering Committee and an active Partnership Member. He works with Maerdy Archives, GEAR and has a keen involvment in all Environmental works in Maerdy. |
Carolyn Richards
Carolyn has worked with Communities First for a number of years and was one of the key volunteers who set up the Kids'R'Us Group. She is currently the Chairperson for the group. She is now employed as a paid youth worker for the Communities First Evening youth provision. She is also key in planning the holiday play provision and is an asset to the Community of Maerdy. She is a member of the Sreering Committee |
Lyneth Bevan
Lyneth is a member of the maerdy walking Group . Lyneth represents Seion chapel on the Partnership |
Dave Chapman
Dave Chapman is recently retired and a resident of Maerdy. He is actively involved in the work of the partnership and has been key in setting up the Cyd Coed II funded New Community Woodland. He attends Steering Committee Meetings when family committments allow. |

Karen is recently retired and an active partnership member. She leads on issues around Health and Well being. She has recently set up a successful Sign Language Group. She is an active member of McMillan Cancer Relief Committee. She is a Director of Maerdy Regeneration Ltd. |

Gillian works full time at Teify House Day Centre. She is an active Partnership member and always eager to get involved in any project, from youth work to environmental clean ups or community safety issues. She is a Director of Maerdy Regeneration Ltd and a member of the Steering Committee |
Ray Carlotti
Ray is a resident of Maerdy. He is a regular visitor to Teify House, a member of St. Johns Ambulance and Maerdy First Responders. |
Barbara Daniel

Len Rees
Len has recently been out of action due to Health problems. Now fighting fit once more he will be returning to the Partnership and the Steering Committee. he is particularly concerned to ensure that residents in the lower end of the Ward are fully included in Communities First. |
Sandra Hunt
Sandra is an active member of the Partnership and a key member of the Executive Committe. |

Keiron started volunteering with Communities First as a youth worker and has since gone on to become employed by Rhondda Housing Association as an Advocacy Worker. He is currently working with Communities First on the Maerdy Advocacy Project. |
Neil Snowdon
Neil currently lectures at a local Further Education College. He is a member of the Partnership and the Steering Committee. In addition he Chair' the monthly Police In The Community Together meetings. He is a founder member of the Maerdy Book Club. |
Ben Evans
Ben is a member of the Partnership and of the Steering Committee. Personal ciricumstances have prevented him from attending regularly but he hopes to be more active in the near future. |

Jeanette Rogers
Jeanette is a regular member of the congregation at Seion Chapel. She is a member of the Partnership, the Steering Committee and is a Director of maerdy regeneration Ltd. She is a retired midwife. |
Amy Blaney
Amy is a young people's representative on the Partnership. She is actively involved with Kids R Us and is also a play supervisor. Amy is a member of the Steering Committee |
Marville Bowen
A member of the Partnership and a keen Volunteer. He is always enthusiastic and energetic. |
Matthew holland
Matthew has recently established Maerdy Under 13's footbal Club. He is a member of the Partnership. |
Melanie Voyle
Melony is a relitively new recruit but has quickly become a dedicated volunteer she is amember of the Partnership. |

Cath Craven - Menter Iaith
Cath is Part of the Communities First participation and Inclusion Team in Rhondda Cynon Taff. She works closely with the Partnership to support the invilvement of the Welsh speaking community and Welsh Learners. She supports a weekly Coffe Morning For welsh speakers. |
Thomas Crockett
Thomas is employed by Interlink as the Communities First Participation Team. He has assisted the Partnership many times over the years. He is currently here every Monday when he assists with the delivery of OCN Level 2 training in Community regeneration. |

Margaret Hannigan-Pop - Groundwork Merthyr Rhondda Cynon Taff
Groundwork have been members of the Partnership since the beginning. The oganisation has assisted with many environmental projects under the Greencare Scheme. Groundwork have also acted as Agents for Maerdy Regeneration Ltd - helping to deliver the first phase of the New Community Woodland Project. |

Alison Jones - Job Centre +
Part of the Want 2 Work Team, Alison attend Partnership Meetings regularly. The Team work closely with the whole of the Partnership and they never miss an opportunity to engage new clients. They are in Teify House on Tuesday mornings and work with the Advocacy Group on Tuesday afternnonns. They are here to help and advise. |
Garry Black

Garry cannot always attend Partnership meetings but we are pleased that South wales police continue to work closely with us on a daily basis. |
Susan Belcher

Mrs Belcher is Head of Maerdy Juniior School. The School are active members of the Partnership. |
Lissa Bridge - RCT CBC
Lissa works for the Council as a Community Development Worker, she provides invaluable support to the Maerdy Partnership. |
Lee Clarke
- PCSO
Lee is an enthusiastic supporter of Communities First Maerdy. He attends Partnership Meetings, co-ordinates the Police In The Community together meetings. Lee works closely with the Partnership as a whole. |
Jim Hall Maerdy Youth Club (RCT CBC)
Jim is the Senior Youth Worker at Maerdy Youth Club. His work committments usually prevent him from attending meeting but he nevertheleass works closely with the Partnership. |
Peter Jenkins - Ferndale Community School.
Busy as he is Peter almost always finds time to attend Partnership Meetings. The School are committed to working closeky with the Partnership and the community as a whole. A new Skills centre was recently opened at the School. |
Sheryl Husband
Sheryl is the School Cluster worker developing commuinity focussed schools in the area. She works closely with the Communities First Partnership |
Christine Jobber RCT CBC
Christine is the over arching Co-ordinator for the Area. She line manages the maerdy Communities First Co-ordinators. |
Heather kelland Maerdy Library
Heather works closely with the Partnership and has supported the establishment of Maerdy Book Club |
Ravi Stavista - Practice Manager Maerdy Surgery
Ravi is new to the Maerdy Surgery and new to Communities First . We hope to work more closely with the Surgery in future. |
