Local residents have been trained as Youth/Play Workers to deliver a play and youth evening provision during school term time.
We also support the inclusion of community volunteers. So if you have an hour or so to spare, please contact Debra on 01443 755687.
Our Thursday Junior Session regularly attracts over 60 young people.
We also run evening youth drop-in sessions for seniors on a Tuesday and Wednesday at Maerdy Football Pavillion. Young people are supported to plan and evaluate sessions and activities. Facilities include running a youth cafe, pool, computers, PS2, board games, creative crafts and a chill out area.
This project is run in partnership with Rhondda Cynon Taff Youth Service and RCT Youth Prevention Team. |
