Calling all sports fanatics.

Teams from Maerdy, Ferndale, Blaenllechau, Tylorstown, Penrhys, Pontygwaith, Stanleytown, Ynyshir and Wattstown are planning a spectacular summer challenge.

Young people aged 10+ will be taking part in a number of events which will test their agility, strength, speed, concentration, aim and co-ordination in what we hope will become an annual event.

If you are aged 10 and over and would like to get involved, please give us a call.

A logo competition is being organised in the run up to the event to encourage young people to design our own Rhondda Fach Olympic Logo. Application forms are available from the Maerdy Communities First Office in Teify House, Station Terrace.
